Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: August 3, 2025

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs access to and use of the ISOweld platform operated by Damien Crane (ABN: 50 803 660 487). It applies to all users, administrators, employees, contractors, invitees, and organisations accessing ISOweld. This Policy forms part of and should be read with the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, EULA, and Data Security Policy.

1. Purpose

ISOweld is intended to support lawful business operations, record control, compliance management, traceability, and secure information handling. Users must use the Platform in a way that protects data integrity, system stability, and organisational accountability.

2. Prohibited Activities

You must not, and must not attempt to:

  • gain unauthorised access to the Platform, its databases, servers, APIs, accounts, or records;
  • copy, scrape, export, mirror, or bulk extract data beyond authorised use;
  • upload false, misleading, fraudulent, or manipulated records, certifications, qualifications, inductions, maintenance records, or compliance evidence;
  • interfere with system availability, including through malware, denial-of-service activity, credential attacks, or malicious automation;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source logic from ISOweld;
  • use ISOweld to store, transmit, or distribute unlawful, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, or infringing material;
  • use another person’s credentials or share your own credentials without authority;
  • bypass access restrictions, security controls, workflow approvals, or audit requirements;
  • submit sensitive personal information, confidential material, or regulated information into AI features except where authorised and appropriate;
  • use the Platform in a manner that breaches Australian law, contractual obligations, or workplace policies.

3. Data Integrity and Accuracy

Users must ensure that all information entered into ISOweld is accurate, current, complete, and lawful. This includes employee records, job information, uploaded documents, inductions, license details, maintenance entries, sign-in information, and other operational records.

4. Credential and Access Responsibilities

Each user is responsible for maintaining the security of their own access credentials and for using the Platform only within the permissions assigned to them. You must promptly report any suspected unauthorised use, suspicious activity, or security weakness.

5. AI and Automation Use

Where ISOweld provides AI or automation features:

  • AI outputs must be reviewed before action is taken;
  • AI tools must not be used to generate false records or misleading compliance evidence;
  • users must exercise caution before entering confidential or sensitive material into AI-assisted inputs;
  • generated content remains the responsibility of the user or organisation relying on it.

6. File Uploads and Document Handling

Documents and files uploaded to ISOweld must be lawful, relevant, and authorised for use. Users must not upload malicious files, copyright-infringing material, or content they have no right to store or distribute. Where SharePoint or other external systems are used, users must also comply with the rules and permissions of those systems.

7. Monitoring and Enforcement

ISOweld may monitor usage, maintain logs, and review system activity to protect the Platform, customers, users, and data integrity. Damien Crane may suspend, restrict, investigate, or terminate access where misuse, breach, fraud, security risk, or policy non-compliance is suspected.

8. Consequences of Breach

Breaches of this Policy may result in one or more of the following:

  • warning notices;
  • temporary suspension of features or accounts;
  • permanent account termination;
  • removal of content or records;
  • internal or customer notification;
  • referral to regulators, law enforcement, or legal representatives where appropriate.

9. Limitation of Liability

Damien Crane is not liable for losses, damages, legal consequences, or operational failures arising from user misuse of ISOweld, false records, breach of this Policy, credential sharing, unauthorised access attempts, or reliance on content generated or entered in breach of this Policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

This Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect legal, operational, technical, or security changes. The current version will be published at https://isoweld.damocrane.com/acceptable-use.php.
